We have a Super Positive Issue for you this time as we carefully jump into 2021, let us all aim to focus on what we can do this year, instead of what we can’t. One thing we can do is learn, grow and prepare for when this Pandemic becomes a memory, so we have lots for you to enjoy this time, in your pursuit of your Equestrian Goals.
Our journalist Jordan Bastian gives some very useful Tips on setting your Equestrian Goals and Sticking with them. Staying with that goal setting theme, I share some tips from my own experience for regaining your Confidence after a Fall; these I am sure will help you back on track to your Equestrian Goals, especially if you have been struggling with confidence issues.

In our Breed Special this time, Jordan explores the history of the Connemara Pony, one of our most beloved native breeds and discovers the secret to the appeal of these wonderful equines, and why they have such a special place in Equestrian Sport.
In our Fun Facts about your horse, we take a look at the Panniculus Carnosus Muscle and the Fly Twitch Response and it ingenious function that benefits your horse during those long, hot summer days. Fingers Crossed we get a few long hot summer days in Ireland this year;-)

Also this time we chat with Martina Kenny from My Lovely Horse Animal Rescue, as the rescue approaches it 10 Year Anniversary this year. We have our News and Results, which details just what has been happening over the last month in Ireland and around the globe. Although it has been a little quieter than normal, some big Changes are Brexit and the Export of Animals to the UK, which changed as of the 1st of January 2020. Plus we find ourselves back in a Level 5 Lockdown in Ireland, and we look at what that means to our Equestrian Activities. Some Amazing news is the New Equestrian Headquarters for Horse Sport Ireland, will move to Greenogue, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, and what an amazing headquarters it will be when complete. I for one believe this will be a hugely positive leap for both training and education of all things Equine, very exciting times ahead for the Irish Equine Industry.
As Always we finish with our Final Positive Note. This time we have a picture from the wonderful Radka Preisler Photography as the back drop to our Positive thought, and what an amazing back drop it is! Well that’s all for this time and remember to stay subscribed to our Email List, so that we can let you know when the next issue is due, along with any other competitions or news as the Year Unfolds. As always,
To Your Equestrian Success,
