Darragh Kenny Wins The Queen’s Cup at CSIO Barcelona.


Darragh Kenny riding Sweet Tricia was the winner of the Queen’s Cup-Segura Viudas Trophy, the opening competition of CSIO Barcelona’s third day. The Irish man was the fastest of the fourteen riders qualified for the second round of the competition. With a time of 37.11’’ in the second round, Darragh Kenny was two seconds faster than his immediate rival, the Swedish Henrik von Ackerman (riding Nancy Me). In third place: the Portuguese rider Luciana Diniz with Fit For Fun 13. The best Spanish representative, Alberto Márquez Galobardes with Aldo du Manor, finished in eighteenth place.

The third day continued with the Longines Challenge Cup, in which taking part are the nine countries who failed to qualify for the big final of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup on Sunday.
